There has been increasing demand within the party for Nishant's entwinement in the past one year.
Nishant had recently addressed his first public appeal for the JD(U) at an event at Bakhtiyarpur, urging people to vote for his father.appearance in his long political career, late last year, since attending Nitish's oath ceremony in 2015. Party leaders, including minister Shravan Kumar, have embraced the notion, arguing that Nishant has a firm grasp of governance and the party needs fresh, progressive leadership.
