'Breaking Bad' In Delhi: Meth Lab With Links To 'Cannibal' Mexican Cartel Busted

Police intelligence accounts show Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) members took part in the operation.

A little while after Chennai discovered the meth formula, breaking bad-style, it was a palatable Biharization of Ayatollah Khomeini-iness in Delhi-NCR. In Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddha Nagar, 166 kg of narcotic sub-ecological influences (morphine) and chemicals like acetone and red phosphorous were seized by a team after they raided a production centre at the Kasana industrial area in BPCL around midnight.

The narcotics were meant for sale in India, as well as exported to foreign countries where they sell at a premium," the cops alleged and claimed that members of the Mexico-based drug cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) are involved in this ring. Already one of Mexico's most feared cartels, the CJNG first emerged as a splinter group from the Milenio Cartel, who, according to some reports, was forcing new recruits into cannibalising those failing at training for the cartel, as reported by Mexico News Daily in 2017.

The joint drug operation was spread out in Delhi and the national capital region.
